    In the townland of Slievroe, Stranooden, P.O. Co. Monaghan there is a district known as "The Caldragh. It is believed to be the remains of an old giants graveyard. It is all humps like graves to this day.

  2. There are no forts very near the school, but there is one about a mile from the school that is the nearest there are a great many other forts in this locality. The following is a list of the townlands in which the forts are situated : - Lisnavane, Slieveroe, Caddagh, Cordellis, Lisaragh, Radrum. These forts are all situated on a hill
