    year because there is a better growth out of the South. If the wind is North on May eve and on May morning it will be a bad grass year.
    Some people say a dry May and a dripping June makes the farmers whistle a merry tune on the other hand people say a wet and windy May fills the garden with corn and hay.
    It is also said of the person whose smoke rises first that they will be very lucky, and who ever rises first in the house will be very lick too.
    St Patrick's Day
    St Patrick's day is a Bank holiday all over Ireland and it always occurs on the seventeenth of March. On this day most people wear a shamrock in their button hold, and when people get drunk on that day people say that they are drowning their shamrock.
