Once upon a time there was an old Scotsman who had a dream which greatly puzzled him.
He dreamt that he was dead and that he went into the clouds and landed with many others at the golden gates of heaven.
After a while the gates were slowly opened and Saint Peter appeared and sat down on a big chair. Every man had to wait on his turn to get judged and the scotsman found himself with only three others before him. St Peter asked the first man his name and how many lies he told while he was on earth. He told his name and said "When I was on earth I told one lie", Then St Peter told him to go down to the earth and walk once around Great Britain.
To the second man he asked the same question and was answered thus. "My name is Stanley Bladurn and on earth I told two lies". He also was told to go down to the earth and walk twice round Great Britain. When St Peter looked around again for the third man he found that he was not there. After waiting for some time he returned again all out of breath. St Peter asked his name and where was he and got the answer. "My name is Royd George and I was away for the loan of a bicycle"
