  1. (continued from previous page)
To settle all matters and end all disputes
I've appointed a judge of renown.
He's a good judge of girls, their strength and their speed
And decisions from him are quite sound.
His name I'll not mention, in case he'd feel shy
But I know he'll give justice to me.
For when I was young and not able to walk
I spent many an hour on his knee.

Before I conclude I'd like to remark
I've a bit in the bank in the town.
I've a small farm of land, a cow and an ass
A goat and a three year old hound.
I've no boy in my eye, I'm quite happy alone
For no farmer am I going to drudge
If I marry at all here's a tip for you all
He'll be a man just the type of our judge.
