    Ternamona Parish of Tydavnet
    In Irish Tírnamóna means the land of the turf

    Drumsnatt - Parish of Drumsnatt
    In Irish Druim-Sneachta
    It is said that during the old Irish wars the dead were numerous after a battle. The survivors prayed for a burial place for their dead. When they awoke next day one field was covered with snow, and they thought that field was an answer to their prayer. They made it a graveyard and it is still used as such.

    In Irish An Gort Mór means the big field

    Wattsbridge - Parish of Clogh
    said to have got its name from the langing of a man named Watt, at the local bridge

    Hollywood - Parish of Tydavnet
    Said to have got its name from the number of holly bushes growing there at one time
