  1. My grandmother had a cure for sores. A school teacher named Mrs. Salmon told it to my grandmother. The cure is made from Barbadoes Tar, Hogs lard, and Turpentine, but there is some secret in making it.
    A cure for a wart is to put a spittle on it every morning before breakfast until the wart is gone.
    Another cure for warts is to rub fat meat to them. Then bury the meat and when it rots the wart goes.
