  1. Once upon a time a woman put a stone into a box for every Sunday she heard Mass. At the end of a year she looked into the box but only saw one stone. She only heard one Mass properly for she always had her mind on her business. A certain man after being married refused to give any charity to the poor on the morning of the marriage. The poor cursed him that the first born child would be a cripple and he was for he had neither hands or feet.
