    him and next he went back to see if the man was injured and he wasent. The mans name was O Brien and he got up with Mr Heffernan in the car and the horse would not pull. He struck her and she started. Mr O Brien got down outside a public-house and went in. So Mr Heffernan went home and his horse was dying and she died. So Mr Heffernan went the next day to that public house and inquired if any such man came in last night and the reply was no. Mr O Brien is said has killed two children.
    A house over in Tubrid where John Shortal lives has a castle beside it and there is some armour hidden in it and a light is seen in it every night with a man sitting on it. The Black and Tans whom we had some time ago are supposed to have hidden that armour there and since then a light passes from there to Homanto castle.
