   It is said that a funeral passes every night between twelve and half-past -twelve, through the Rectory-gate. the coach is drawn by two headless horses.
   Not so many years ago people in Johnstown were card playing for something The eight men had arrived, the man of the house went to see was the ninth coming and when he did so, he brother who was fire years dead stood beside him dressed in his habit and went into the house with him. All who were present fled. The man went for the priest. When the priest came he put out the Ghost, and could not remove him past the cow-house so he locked him up in it.
   There lies a house in Johnstown which is still inhabited, and was once owned by a wife and husband. This night the man went to play cards in the village, the woman went to bed. About twelve o'clock she heard noise at the door and getting up to open it saw no one
