    brothers were burned within. The ruins remain still. Up to two years ago, the slates were on the house in good condition, and a great many rafters exposed to view.
    Lately the river Ghoul has employed plenty of workers, as it was cleaned and plenty of trout has been caught there. Violet-Hill was the most important place in Warrenstown, and it is the most important to-day, and it is noted for its ancient history.
    It is nearly all bog and it is under grazing to-day. There is no protection about the rivers, and cattle cross from side to side by means of a little wooden bridge and not one was ever lost yet.
