There is a turn known as the cas-a-carr some people call it the cricket turn but most of the people call it the Irish name cas-a-carr. There are a lot of other places in our district having Irish names some of them are the Cairrge meaning rock. In this field the rock is to be seen. There are two other places in this district known as the cnocan bog, -which means the soft hill. These places are called not the soft hills but the old people give their Irish names.
