  1. There is an old ruin at Cornacassa beside Monaghan which belonged to the Hamilton's long ago. Old Dacre Hamilton was the name of the man him-self. He was supposed to be a priest hunter and any Catholic trespassing through the Castle grounds was liable to be shot. All that stands to-day of the ruins are the four walls.
    When the roof was taken of there were great big mirrors built in the walls. On the avenue leading
