rob some rich gentleman. The gentleman resisted and got badly wounded. When the robbers were leaving the gentleman was lying on the floor bleeding profusely. His wife was screaming in terror. The robbers had not gone far when Jack Larkin returned to the house and put the gentleman to bed and helped the wife to bandage him.
The robbers were afterwards brought to justice. The gentleman's wife asked that Jack Larkin be let go free. Her request was granted. The others were sentenced to terms of imprisonment. Jack is supposed to have led a good life ever afterwards.
