    One day a man in townland of Knockeens was minding his cows in a field. While he was minding them a whirlwind came and knocked one of the cows. The cow died soon after and he skinned her. The next day he went to Kenmare to sell the skin. Outside the town he met a foxy woman. "You have the skin" said the woman. "I have" said the man. "You're a lucky man" said the woman, "that it wasn't yourself that was killed instead of the cow".
