of the road there is an estate called "Back Westen" where the Will O' the Wisp is supposed to be seen with a light in his hand. Many people were left in a certain field in the grounds until early hours of the morning trying to find a way out but of no avail as it is said to be the "Fairies' Pass."
This estate belonged to an old family called "Peppers." There is a new road now used instead of the boreen and the corner which was cut off is called "Peppers' Corner.
