An old prayer which I heard my grandfather say when he heard a whirlwind ( Sidhe gaoithe ) ends " go ra mish cosk ala " which could be " go raibh mioscáis uair a ghrádh ". It was said that when one said this prayer in a whirlwind that a child stolen by fairies was released.
