    Ned informed me that a man had once told him thst he was cured of warts by washing them in the water in the hole if St FIntan's Stone

    As regards the origin of the hole or foot-print, his account is the same as that I have already given except it was to Brandon Hill St Fintan was jumping and not Tory Hill. He believed it was St. Fintan was responsible for it and not a giant.
