  1. The townland of |Shanbogh was purchased by George Warburton about eighty or ninety years ago. This Warburton was according to Ned Fiortune a gfreighter and was lost at sea; his estate then passing to Miss Jottenham who according to M.J.P. Coghlan, Solicitor, new Ross is now at a very advanced age residing in the Channel
    Islands.
    I have obtained a map from Mr Murt Cassin, Shanbogh, whose father was a rent - warner [?].
