It is often when a person dies that he is seen in some other place - the person seeing him not knowing that he is dead.The day my father - God be with him - died (in Co. Sligo where I come from) my father-in-law said he saw through a window a strange man walking with my husband out in the field, or going across the yard I think. When my husband was questioned, he met no stranger at all that day; and the description given of the stranger would describe my father as to height, etc. The bad news (of his death) came soon after.
