In the year 1890 a great drought came all over the Co. Kilkenny and other places too.

In the year 1890 a great drought came all over the Co. Kilkenny and other places too. People had to go long distances for spring water. They had to go miles with water to save cattle from dying with the drought, you would hear cattle crying nearly a mile away. A lot of cattle were lost.
