- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)house through Knockdrina hill out on the Barretstown road. There ia another path from James Martin's house to Lady's Well.
There were three well known Fords in this district. One in Ennisnag, one in Stoneyford and another in Mt. Juliet. Bridges were built in those places afterwards. Mt Juliet Bridge was built in year 1897. I do not know when the other two bridges were built.
There is a Cross at one side of the road near the Fountain in Kilfane. A man was killed where the cross stands and that is why the cross is put there. He was coming from Gowran Races and there were cows grazing on the road. One of the cows backed out against him and he was killed. There is another a Kilbline Cross. A man came around the bend too quickly and hit the wall and was killed.- Bailitheoir
