    Most of them are ivy clad and some of them are just a heap of old stones.
    When we see them the memories of their occupants of long ago crowd back to our minds. About a mile and a half from the parade there is a ruin of an old castle. It is called Kilcreene Castle. It is said to have stood there from the seventeenth century. All round this castle there are many tall palm trees and this leaves the ruin almost invisible. Leading to the an-cient castle there is an large avenue which is hardly passably.
