  1. A Graveyard
Usually graveyards are in dark quiet lonely places so as the public might avoid them on their day's walk. Down Patrick St. there is a huge graveyard which is at present closed and it is called "The Village graveyard".
There is a large gate leading into the ancient graveyard and it is surrounded by high walls. Once it was the principal graveyard in Kilkenny but now it is hardly spoken of except by the old folk. No one is ever allowed to visit it and it is covered by high grass and moss.
