    There are also many old ruins in our district. There is an old ruin of a house about two fields from our house. A family by the name of Wallaces lived there many years ago. The family emigrated to America. Patrick Ryan of Aughkilethawn who was middle landlord took the slates off of it and brought them home and put them on an outhouse.
