    Purtle and Kenny of Parliment St Kilkenny used to make candles.
    Joe Phelan of Gowran used to make boot nails.
    The lime kilns in which lime was burned but are not in use now, are Cullen's kiln in Flagmount Gauls kiln in Bricana. Jimmy Tobin's kiln of Castlewarren. Carregan's kiln of Ballyquirk. James Keeve and Martin Bridgett, Knockadreen were great fowlers.
