    5-7-38
    Basket making was carried on in a place called Glen Cám. The people used to make them by gathering a lot of sallies and plaiting them together. They used to make them for many purposes and they used them for picking potatoes in them.
    Spades were made by a man named Brennan he had a forge in Gowran. There was weaving carried on in Goresbridge but the house it was carried on, is knocked down. There was nails made in Gowran by a man named Murphy.
