  1. Any little boy or Girl can make a toy elephant out of oil cloth. The elephant can be mad any size you wish. When you have the pattern drawn out cut two indentical pieces in strong material they must be cut with the wrong side facing together so as to face the right way. Shape the stripe as you sew it on, so that the neck, head, tail, and trunk are a little narrower than the body or legs.
    Now you will need some wood shavings not too coarse. Press into the different limbs of the elephan with a piece of wood, as tightly as possible. Finish the stuffing
