    There are two shoemakers in Gowran Bishop & Cahill. Bishop makes boot & shoes & sells them to the people & Cahill repairs boots
    Leather was made in Gowran long ago when it was scarce.

    If tight boots are worn you will get corns. Small children wear soft shoes called sandals.
    Most of the people have machines to mend their boots & shoes.
