Along time ago a man and his wife lived in a house in Tullabroin. One night the woman of the house was called to the window by an old withered little woman. She told her that her husband would get a call to go to the Kilkenny fair but not to let him go. The next morning about 3 oclock he got the call and he went. As he was going past Farrell's gate he fell dead. The other men got a car and carried him home. People say that the car leaves the shed every morning at the same hour.
