    which spans the road near Adare's house,and from that time on the bridge has been known as the "Bloody Bridge". The field is haunted and very few care to pass through it after dark. I heard of a man passing through the field one bright moonlight night very late.When he had got about half ways across the field it seemed to fill up with men,some on horse back more on foot. Next thing he knew they were fighting all around. He got terrified and tried to run away,but it seemed as if something tied him where he stood. He was there for hours as he thought while they fought around
