    As I roved out one evening all for to take the
    air,
    I heard two lovers talking and she to him did

    "Brennan you are my Darling my joy and hearts
    delight",
    In spite of friends and parents, with you I'll take
    a flight.
    True love, don't be uneasy, or troubled in your mind, let nothing else displease you but to rove and
    sport your time,
    For I have gold in store, love, and you I'll not resign.
    If you but once would change your mind, and say
    that you are mine.
