   I would rove night and morning till my true - love I
   would find.
   Its near the border of Elphin you'll find her
   there you know,
   A comely maid both white and red, the pride
   of Boheroe.
   She's proper, tall and handsome, she's comely and she's mild.
   She's the flower of all I notice, I wish if she
   were mine.
   When I rise every morning, I am uneasy that
   whole day
   She living near dear old Elphin, and I so far
   away.
   I'll take her in my arms and keep her from all woe.
   She is my love, and dove and darling, the pride
   of Boheroe.
