  1. Here as on this bed I lie,
    I pray to God to be my guide;
    There are four corners on my bed
    Four Guardian Angels over head
    Matthew, Mark, Luke and John
    Bless this bed I lie upon.
    If any evil crosses me,
    Holy Mary waken me,
    If I die before I wake I pray to God my soul to take.
    (to be said when you lie down in bed).
    A prayer for a toothache
    As Saint Peter knelt on a marble stone,
    Sweet Jesus came up to him alone,
    What ails thou Peter said Our Lord?
    Oh Dear Jesus a Great toothache
    Then rise up Peter thou shall be healed.
    (Who ever says this prayer three times night and day shall never have a toothache)
    Short prayer to the Holy Family
    Heart of Jesus I adore thee
    Heart of Mary I emplore thee
