Some years ago there was a man ploughing in the field and he cut a rod that was growing beside the well to drive the horses. When he went in to his dinner he put the rod on the ridge near the plough. When he came back to his work again, he found it growing in teh place where he cut it. - In olden times men were very powerful. They were great runners, walkers, jumpers, swimmers, singers, dancers, boxers, bowlers and weight throwers and some of them brought great honour to their country, even in foreign lands.(continues on next page)
