In my rambles from home as I rode on my steed,
To Dunmanway my course being quite sober indeed,
I met this old joker who boasts of his creed,
And he talked me to me in scandal of Papists. 4.
He called me a monkey, a thief and a rogue,
He said that our Clergy were sunk in sad woe,
