    Thatching:-
    There was a man in this locality who was a great thatcher. he would on a round of thatch that would last for fifteen years
    When a thatcher puts on the first stroke of thatch from the eve to the top of the house - if a fairly big house - he puts eight stitches in it. A stitch is one rod left down on the thatch and two other rods bent in the middle and stuck down at the end of the rods in the thatch. At the top of the stroke of thatch
