   woman stood up and said she would give "no lodgin to nobody" "About 12 months ago," she said "we gave lodgin to a man and his wife, and our only daughter we had was dead in the mornin and that girl at the door is the stamp of my only girl" The girl stepped in then. "So I came back to see you again mother" she said. Then there was great joy between all. They kept both her and the man for the next day, and the boy told them all that happened. The father sent them to the priest next day they was married. And the boy took her back to the ould mother and that finishes that as far as I can go. Told by Paddy Rafferty, Ballinteeva
