- How impending changes in the weather are foretold by:-(a) The Wind:
N. Wind is a sign of dry fine weather.
E. Wind - cold "black" weather
S. Wind - rain or mild weather
W. Wind - "Hard" dry weather.
S.W. - Rain, often stormy.
N.W. - Stormy, windy weather.
When wind "dies" i.e. day becomes very still & calm, S.W. wind & rain are expected.
When wind changes from E. to W. "with the sun" (clock-wise) - a set of fine weather, & vice versa.
When "Land" wind changes suddenly from any point E. to any pt. W. a storm is expected.(continues on next page)
