    Shountalive which is about three miles to the east of Eyeries. It contains about twenty-five acres of land, and long ago my grand father kept nine cows in it, but now have only seven.
    The rent was £20, but like all the other farmers, my grand-father entered the Land Court in order to reduce the rent. At first it was brought down to £18, and they paid this sum for three years. Then they entered the Land Court again and brought it down to £15. In this way rent was reduced to £3.
