  1. I live in the district of Upper Horsemount in the barony of Muskerry and in the parish of Aghina. This district is in Co Cork. There are approximately twenty three families in the district. Twohig is the most common family name in the district. There are twenty two slate houses in the district. There are a few old people in the district namely Jeremiah Cronin, James and Mrs Twohig, Mrs Creedon, Mrs Nano Twomey and Michael Walsh. All these people know Irish. They can tell stories in Irish and in English. There were nearly twice as many houses in the district in former times than what are there now. There are about ten houses now in ruins. Lots of people from this district to the United States of America about fifty years ago. The
