  2. Tales are told in this district about the Mass. A man ceased attending Mass, because the priest would not baptize one of the children and the child died. A woman in the district placed a stone in a box for each Mass she heard and when she went to the box after a long time there was only one stone in the box.
    This meant that that she was late for one Mass, and she was sorry for it. There was a
