    their corn. They were made of a round timber frame with a sheep skin bottom. This was pierced with holes through which the grain went. These were made about 50 or 60 years ago. And the sieves were known as "bouranes".

  2. Ciseans [ciseán]
    "Ciseans" were square baskets used for drawing potatoes. They were made of twigs in the same manner as the ciseans they used for drawing manure.
