( Cloundereen )The ruins of an old church are situated in a field owned by Cullinane's of Cloundreen. A graveyard adjoins the ruins but it is not now used. Some stones from the church walls were taken by a man who was building a new house. Nothing happened. Another man, who was building a house later on, also drew away loads of stones from it but every load which was taken during the day came back to the Teampuillín during the night. - THE WART WELLIn Timoleague Abbey, near the site of the altar, is a kind of font on the ground. The tide comes right up to the Abbey walls. When the tide is out the font contains only a little water but when it is in the water is said to rise in the font until it is full. As the tide recedes the font empties once more until only a drop is left. This water when rubbed to warts is supposed to cure them
