    Dan Moloney and Jerome Brien were both drowned on August 15th about 30 years ago.

    spread nets under the bridge to prevent their bodies going out with the tide. Their bodies were recovered that night. Jerome Brien was brought home 11 P.M. He was buried in Lislee and Dan Moloney was buried in Timoleague. Dan Moloney's father was called "the Buachaillín" and his mother was Kit "Sowney". People say that drownings occur on August 15th. Johnny Fehilly's son was drowned one day at play-hour in Bill bo's hole - a hold in the sand - between the school and the mill.
