- The games I play are post mans knock, burning the biscuit, musical chairs, blind-mans buff and fire in the mountain. The way to play "Fire in the Mountain" is this. Many children come together and each one gets a partner and they stand in a ring. Then one person goes into the middle of the ring and calls out "there is a fire in the mountain" run: run: run:" Then the out-side ring runs around until the person in the middle calls out "the fire is out". Then they all run in to get a partner. But the one who fails to get a partner has to go into the middle and begin the game again. I also play burning the biscuit. It is played by many children going out side a door and one person stays inside in the room and hides a reel of thread. When she has it hidden she calls out the "biscuit is burnt and very well burnt".(continues on next page)
