    Several people have searched for the gold since. Beagles are supposed to always safeguard this treasure as they chase the men away when they come searching for it.

  2. There is a Cahair in the townland of Clashanimud, in the parish of Knockavilla. It is situated about a half a mile to the north of Knockavilla Church.
    There is treasure supposed to lie hidden either in the cahair itself or in the immediate neighbourhood. The treasure is said to be golden cups and pikes[?]
