    There is a fort in Mr Rumley's land in the townland of Moneen.
    About fifty yeas ago this farm was in the possession of a man named Good. Mr Good gave orders to his ploughman Owen Riordan from Templemartin to plough and level this fort. The man did so. When he had the work completed he went home and went to bed. When he awoke next morning he could not stir, and he never ploughed a sod from that day to the day of his death.

    There is a fort in townland of Annaghmore. It is a circular mound and local residents say that hammering has been heard under the ground there.
