- My house in the town of Millstreet is in the parish of Drishane and the barony of West Muskerry. There are about fifty families in the place in which my house is situated. The names most common are Murphys and Kellehers. All the houses in my town are slated. The word Mill Road is got from the mill because there was a flour mill there long ago it started in 1730 and it is there still. There are seven streets in the town. The park is situated in the north east of the town. There is one monument in the middle of the town.(continues on next page)
