    hole in each fort. One day two men went down to see what it was like below. Their names were Maurice Mac Carthy Gowlane, and Jerh Sexton Gowlane. All they got below was a pot cover. They said it was very nice below, but it was very small. They also said the little walls were made very nice of stones.
    There are shores from one fort to another for one day a dog went into a fort and he came out into another fort.
    People say these forts are very old and that it was the Danes built them when they came to Ireland. Many people plough and till them.
