These other forts are situated, one in the farm of Eugene Lane, Berrings, adjoining the farm of Mrs. O'Brien, one in the farm of Con Desmond, Ballyanly, next to Eugene Lanes, one in the farm of Thomas Buttimer, Ballyanly adjoining Desmonds, and one further south about 3 quarters of a mile in Dromgouna.
There are the remains of 3 forts, in Callas, quite near each other, and within a very short distance of the forts already named and in a south-easterly direction from them.
There is a fort in Jack Walsh's farm, Rea, north west of the first fort at Kilclough, and south of this, there are two forts in Lisnashandrum and two in Lisladeen, two adjoining townlands, that probably derived their names from these forts.
South of these forts again there are two other forts in the farm of James Mahony, Berrings. One of these forts is said to be connected with the forts at Lisnashandrum by an underground passage, passing under a stream that divides the townland of Lisnashandrum from the townland of Lisladeen.
